METROPOLIS, Ill. - Authorities in southern Illinois are asking for the public's help in finding the people who are damaging and may be looting some prehistoric Native American burial mounds.

Patrick "Pat" Souders, age 62, of Brookport passed away at 8:40 p.m. Monday, May 21, 2012, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.

The Massac County Sheriff's Department is looking for a Metropolis man they say could be armed and dangerous.

Surviving are one daughter, Angela Lockard of Metropolis, Ill.; one son, Austin Lockard of Metropolis; one brother, Mark Lockard of Paducah; two sisters, Amy Jo Hogg of Mayfield and Mary Beth Arnold of Union City, Tenn.; one grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

She was the daughter of Thomas Olen and Sula Cromeenes. She was born June 11, 1926, in Champaign, Ill., and was raised in the Carbondale, Ill., area.
