A pair of Mesa County sheriff's deputies duck under crime scene tape stretched across the driveway Thursday as they assist in the investigation of two people shot to death in the house, at right, which is located at 10389 48 Road west of the town of Mesa.

As the Mesa County Sheriff's office tries to piece together the events that led to the shooting, one woman says she knows what happened.
