Franklin County VFW posts raise money for soldiers

Who exactly are they helping?
What exactly are they doing with the money?
How can a family receive "help" while their local soldier is away? Can they remain anonymous because of embarrassment of requesting help?
My local VFW has done NOTHING! even when requested!
I have read this before, but not all are receiving... just a chosen few.
The 104th and the 108th both have local soldiers.
So sad the public is being misled about the amount of "help".

Hey BobG Shut the F up! Get off your butt and raise some money and stop crabin' around! If you know a soldier's family that needs help, then do something to help them. How about you start something with your VFW instead of waiting for someone else to do it! You're just like most of America, standing around with their hands out and not taking steps to improve things for themselves or others. If you know soldiers and they need help, then give it to them. It's better than complaining that no one is helping them! VFW's are so important to the community, not only for our soldiers but also for our emergency services. So stop being lazy and a complainer and get out there and do something for someone!

Clearly you are a liberal who sits around and complains about everything without doing anything constructive. Maybe you should initiate something at your VFW instead of complaining about people who are actually helping. Liberals...always expecting free stuff and then questioning and complaining when its not as good as they though it would be!!
