What a wonderful program. The teachers that developed this program should be rewarded financially with a large pay bonus. I doubt that the liberal teachers union would allow this, as this program points out weakness in the present system. Basically, all teachers are rewarded equally. The 80 % that are average , get the same pay as the few outstanding individuals. I ran a small business for many years and I payed my employees the going rate of salary and then payed them in addition, 50% of my net profit. The employees kept the books, so I could not steal from them. We also payed up to a months sick leave depending on illness, and payed 100% of employees health care premiums for them and their families. We prospered beyond my wildess expectations. When will the teachers unions realize that cash incentives pay off and make everyone look good.

2 I traveled with Mr. Hanson in 2007 with the Guadalajara-Henry Sibley exchange program and I feel the experiences I had changed the way I thought about the world and effected my overall outlook on life for the better. Although I have high regards for Mr. Hanson, there are parts of his personality which retract (at least for me) from his outwardly successful persona. After graduating from Sibley the amount of care/concern Sr. Hanson showed towards me and others who graduated with me was suddenly and abruptly stopped. He didn't make it to anyone's graduation parties and at times when I've asked for guidance from Sr. H he's ignored emails and hasn't returned phone calls. Perhaps it's because he's too busy with all these other students. Perhaps it's because he has personal problems arise in his life. Regardless, there is no excuse for cutting off a student/friend just because they've graduated and are no longer seeing you 5 days a week. Having lost my dad during these years in high school Sr. was someone I looked up to as a male role model, and his failure to continue communication after I graduated really lost him a lot of respect in my mind. |

This guy is egotistical and self-centered. He's got what I call Napolean Syndrome. Small man, but thinks awfully highly of himself.
Going to soccer games was absolutely atrocious. He would announce the games. He was so loud and obnoxious and disrespectful to the opposing fans that would come out to the game. The 2nd half he would announce the plays in Spanish. We are in America, dude! I did not come to watch a soccer game and listen to you yell and scream and be obnoxious in any language let alone Spanish! Same thing went for basketball games. This guy has an out of control ego. To Ryan, I feel bad for you, but I think you'll find it's for the best that you not have contact with this guy. There's more to it than what's on the surface! |
