Special Assembly spending for Melville

State Assembly members are sending $85 million in special spending projects to more than 4,000 programs, agencies and charities in their home districts. Seventy of the grants, referred to by some as pork-barrel spending and by others as Community Project Funds, are in the town of Huntington. Here are the recipients in Melville:
