Orlando-based FBC Bancorp completes merger
Orlando-based FBC Bancorp Inc., parent company of Florida Bank of Commerce, has closed the deal on its merger with Prime Bank of Melbourne, the banks said today.
The two banks announced their merger plans in June. They will retain their separate names but operate under the parent umbrella of FBC Bancorp.
The combined banking organization has about $110 million in deposits across Central Florida, making it the region's 42nd-largest bank by deposit market share, according to the latest regulatory data available. FBC's assets total more than $160 million. Read more
