In a 5-2 vote Monday night, the Washington County Planning Commission voted not to recommend approval of a truck stop at Interstate 81's Exit 24.

Doris Faye Reynolds, 58, of Meadowview, was arrested Thursday and is accused of embezzling about $34,000 from the company she managed, according to a written statement from the Washington County, Va., Sheriff's Office.
