A bail bondsman who posted the money for a McConnellsburg man to get out of jail the day before he committed murder-suicide will no longer have to forfeit $100,000 to Fulton County.

McConnellsburg-based Fulton County Medical Center has selected PinnacleHealth as its partner for tertiary medical and surgical services that are not available in that area.

A Johnstown, Pa., woman was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs while she had two children in her vehicle.

RETALIATION AGAINST WITNESS/SIMPLE ASSAULT: James Lynn Junkins, 21, McConnellsburg, got into a physical altercation with a 20-year-old McConnellsburg man at 10:45 a.m. Saturday, according to Pennsylvania State Police, McConnellsburg.

A Fulton County teen is dead after crashing on Route 522. Ashlyn Buterbaugh was driving on Route 522 near Great Cove Road in Dublin Township when the accident happened.

Pennsylvania State Police, McConnellsburg, said Community State Bank in Orbisonia was contacted by the Social Security office seeking money deposited into an account.

"We think 2012 appears to be a very, very strong year in Franklin County, and a prosperous year for Franklin County," said L. Michael Ross, president of the Franklin County Area Development Corp.

Sheldon Mark and Jolene Fay Shank, Hagerstown, had a daughter, Breanne Hope, at 9:32 a.m. Jan.
