That is so sad. Why do people always assume drugs? I bet there are a lot of people including me that has never came to a complete stop at a stop sign. I feel for the family and the young man who hit them.

This is really a tragidy. God Bless the family of the young man who lost his life. God Bless the young man who was so unfortunate to have hit the vehicle.
Heat please think before you come to a conclusion, such as you have.

NO DRUGS INVOLVED!!! It was just a matter of poor judgement. Nothing more and nothing less. I too came across this wreck. I was in a bad wreck a year ago in October and this instantly affected me and my children in the car, which were also involved in the wreck. Drugs do not always play a role in automobile accidents, but a lack of good judgement.

May GOD comfort this family in their time of sorrow, for one day they will rejoice in the blessing of his short, but meaningful time with them on Earth.

The seat belt law is for a reason. If the father was a law abiding citizen his son would still be alive. Feel sorry for the boy not the father. His negligence caused his sons death. Failure to obey traffic laws!! no more, no less. We will see to it that he gets prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Maybe he will think twice before breaking traffic laws again. he got what he deserved.

He deserved to have his son die.. I think not! He deserved a ticket thats about it. I really really hope you aren't really a cop because I would hate to think someone like you is "protecting" that city.

Jacob nor his father deserved this. There were several things that were factors in this tragic accident. I know this family personally and it was just an accident. Nothing could happen to this father worse than loosing his precious son.

I don't think he deserved to have his son killed. And many people including cops break traffic laws. I have seen in Pittsburg County police not wearing thier seatbelts, texting,(which should be against the law here)talking on the cell, careless driving. You will see that he gets prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, your just a cop not a lawyer...Do you not think the dad feels bad enough knowing that his son is not alive? So not only is the family suffering, but you want to make the family suffer more by taking the dad away too? This county is full of drugs, try taking care of that instead of a ACCIDENT.

You are a complete and total jerk. NO ONE deserves to lose a child. No family should ever have to suffer that. I agree he should have been in a seatbelt and the dad gets to live with that forever, but no one DESERVES to have a child die.

For what it's worth...I agree with you. Other's on here are saying you said the son deserved to die, no where on your post do you say that. The father, by his own negligence caused this tragic accident. He broke two laws, one.. the seatbelt law.. two, he failed to stop at a stop sign. Does this make it any easier on him or his family over the loss of their son, of course not....but facts are facts. His pain will follow him to the grave for what he did. May God grant him some mercy and peace.

Thank you for know how to comprehend what you read. As you can see, Most of the people who read my post read words that was not there. They only see and believe what they want to. It becomes a power trip to them, they have to be right. Reading their post, shows the hate and disrespect for other peoples opinions. They have to be on the fight in order to get their daily fix of drama. They don't know that what goes around comes around. Well, fact is, they are wrong. Those type people have a blatant disregard for the law and everybody else around them. They say it is hateful of me for telling the truth. fact #2. for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Im sure the boys dad knows all about that now. I see drivers do stupid stuff all the time that endangers others as well as themselves. We need stronger laws with harder penaltys so people learn from their action. God bless you and your family& loved ones for your kind kind words.

Your welcome officer, and peace to you and yours.

The reason I understand is because I was married to a man like this. Total disrespect for "little laws".. you know the ones..like wearing your seatbelt, speeding ( I'm not going that much over...), STOP means stop..not barely yield and keep going... OR.. Let's swim at the lake where there's a sign that says..NO SWIMMING ( less people to bother him ).... or..let's take all the kids out on a frozen ( he guessed ) lake that your not familiar with ( in CO )...while professional ice fisherman are yelling at you to get off, the ice is then on that side..Why do some behave this way? Because he knows better, they are always right and normally are control abusers...Another is.let's go hunting..no license, no hunter's safety courses for the child (starting at age 8)..just put a gun in his hand and tell um to shoot....

No, I about had a nervous breakdown being married to a man who had no common sense on "danger" or right or wrong actions no matter how small of an infraction they might or might not be.

I to this day worry about my son while in his care over stupid and careless decisions he makes and hope and pray I don't find my son dead because of his actions.

Have a nice day sir.

I don't think you can comprehend what you wrote. "He got what he deserved." Well, what he got was a dead son. Again, no one deserves that.

thank you so kindly for proving the point that i made to Miss molly. I knew someone would do just that if given enough time. The way you could have proven me wrong would have been to just not post a reply or even agknowledge my post. But you just couldn't resist the opportunity to sling hatred and try to be the queen of drama. You have no idea what i meant and you have no idea what i mean now. The best thing you could have done was just keep you mouth shut and go on about your own business. But no, You have the need to feel like you are 100% right. Fine. That's your opinion and you are entitled to it just as i am mine. If you noticed i haven't replied to anyone else on this forum. Why? Because i am smart enough to know that by doing so would just cause conflict. You need conflict, I don't. Thanks again for proving my point. I will Ignore any spew from you from here on. Remember, This forum is about the death of a 14 year old boy not about you or me. Only a drama hog would stray off topic to push their own point. that you did.
