A winter storm watch has been issued for the Okanogan Highlands, Wenatchee area, East slopes of the Cascades and the Okanogan Valley for this afternoon through tomorrow afternoon.

Heavy snow closed Highway 20, also called the North Cascades Highway, at 10 a.m. today.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the Okanogan Highlands, East Slopes, Northern Cascades, and Okanogan Valley until 8:00 p.m. Thursday night.
