Benton County Accident Kills Oklahoma Man
An Oklahoma man died Thursday morning in a Benton County accident. It happened along Highway 43 north of Maysville just before eleven o'clock. Arkansas State Police say a vehicle driven by Bill Louis Doan, 50, of Jay, Oklahoma went off the highway in a curve, hit a concrete culvert and flipped onto its top.
Weather puts Benton County schools on ice
School buses hit the streets early in Benton County on Monday as all seven public-school districts closed midday because of inclement weather.
