Website maps prairie preservation
Two digital designers who have ties to Kansas have created an online website to allow those interested in the preservation and restoration of the North American prairie to share their efforts.
In the first round of grants for 2012, the Emporia Community Foundation awarded $9,240 to five area organizations, according to Mark Schreiber and Rick Tidwell, co-chairs of the Grants Committee.
