Residents of Mason who regularly spend time at the Mason Park can now look forward to a few improvements coming this summer.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A federal judge has denied a request to postpone proceedings in a lawsuit against a Mason County principal accused of dragging a special needs child from a bus.

A Mason County woman is alleging the last four sheriffs have played a role in cheating her out of a family inheritance.

Richard M. Black, 54, Ashton,disorderly conduct, obstructing and assault on a police officer, arrested on April 24 by Trooper S.C. Allen of Mason County Detachment of West Virginia State Police.
