City Gets $3 Million To Remove Homes
MARTINSVILLE, Ind. -- The Federal Emergency Management Agency said Monday it is releasing $3 million to Martinsville so that the city can acquire 32 homes deemed "susceptible to annual flooding." The homes, which were heavily damaged in the flooding of June 2008, will be removed and new homes won't be allowed to be built there.
