Paying that man tax dollars to help him continue his work would make me feel pretty good ... the Federal government doesn't have a clue how to get things done on their own, just give the man some cash and let him continue his honorable work . Best of luck to him anyway , he is making a huge difference in people's lives .

Millions wasted on a turtle tunnel and we can't find the money or time to retrieve our fallen heros. This is what is wrong with this country.

The C-46 Curtiss Commander was a twin-engined propellor-driven cargo plane, a workhorse during WWII. They were used extensively in the CBI (China-Burma-India) theater of operations carrying surplies between India and Kumming, China for the forces of Chaing Kai Chek. At no time did their route fly over Japanese held territory.

How wonderful that Mr. Seidel found out what happened to his brother. Bless Clayton Kuhles and Gary Zaetz for undertaking this work.

What a wonderful report of the precious work being done for these our Veterans!!!!(Families also become Veterans of a sort also). My husband, Mike, was a ground mechanic in CBI and I recall him often speaking of Kumming. Thank you for this positive reporting and bless these families.

God bless you all-everybody that has-does-and will serve our country. And "piss off" to the government that worries more about lineing their pockets- worries about and gives money to all other countries that will never pay it back and who hates us --the Americans that help them. I am tired of the shoemakers kids going barefoot!.

Very sad...this has to be so heart-breaking for Loren. in one sense, they have closure, but to never see your brother is sorrow. I pray that the entire family has peace.

You think about how icy-cold the Governemental response here is. Can you imagine if we have Governemental-Run Healthcare. Our relatives will be told they cannot have surgeries and, as Obama said, "just give them a pain-pill." Government is not equipped to understand and sympathize with individuals, their lives and families. This story is an example of this.

And thanks should be said to the people of India who buried the remains. At least they got a burial and where put to rest.

Sounds like a good Discovery Channel show. Maybe someone should get these two together and get him some air time. It would be a good way for him to rake in some funding to continue searching for more of these war heroes. I'd watch it.

Our government owes it to the missing to recover their bodies whenever possible and return them to the families. It is the least we can do. It's a shame that these men (and women) have been ignored.

I am one of Loren and Kenneths nieces and I am so happy for the closure for my aunt and uncle's. I just wish my father Gene Seidel would have lived long enough to find out what happened to his brother...

See the movie "Buddhas Knot" You been to the Flying Tigers Memorial, Bobby? Its where you live, "A Flying Tigers Memorial is located in the village of Zhijiang, Hunan Province, China and is the only museum in the world dedicated exclusively to the Flying Tigers. The building is a steel and marble structure, with wide sweeping steps leading up to a platform with columns holding up the memorial's sweeping roof; on its .back wall, etched in black marble, are the names of all members of the AVG, 75th Fighter Squadron, and 14th Air Force who died in China." It is a place of honor and mutual respect between two allies who fought and defeated the Japanese onslaught. When you visit there, post your observations for us.
