From what Snider and Reed said, the dog was disrupting Snider's hunting by barking so he shot it through the shoulder like you would shoot a deer. They also said that Snider didn't ask Reed to help dispose of it until a week later when the owner of the dog said he was going to press charges. Well, they said that he "threatened" them, but how much of a threat is an elderly man that has since died of cancer? Then they burned it like trash, and when it was burned until it was unrecognizable, Reed then drug it by hand back to his house, and then tied it behind his truck down the road and left it where it would be sure to be found. Nothing about that sounds justified, but you're entitled to your opinion.

You're either Snider or Reed or posting for one of them. Just shut up already, you're not tricking any of us into believing your story.

The proper use would be dragged, it's a common mistake. Lots of people try to use "drug" in place of the proper term dragged, ie "look what the cat drug in".

You people need to look at what u are saying. You are saying that u would do horrible things to Reed and Snider when all they did was get rid of an aggressive dog in the only way they knew how. In my eyes u people are far worse than Reed and Snider. They killed a DOG u people are talking about hurting another HUMAN being!

I've never threatened anyone, but I do think that both men were very wrong in this case. The dog shouldn't have been shot in the first place, and it shouldn't have been disposed of the way that it was. Like it was worse than garbage. No one should be threatened at all. The law will do it's job because this was so publicized. I've known Snider for many years and I thought he was smarter than this, and I am very disappointed. It was wrong. Period. I don't have to threaten anyone. If anyone wants to stand up for them, you have the right to do so. We all know the truth, and standing up for them, or threatening them, won't change what happened or the outcome of this disgusting mess.

Shooting an "aggressive " dog between the eyes is one thing, but shooting ANYTHING through the shoulder, then burning it whether alive or dead, and dragging it down a road is uncalled for , disrespectful, and in -humane.. I wouldn't wish anything bad to anyone, but just that a lesson of some sort was learned, and that an elderly man on the brink of death was robbed of the life of a pet. This was a sad, sad story.

Well, Levi, Travis, or whichever friend or family member of them you happen to be, you should be more sensitive about how you act to things that are not human because you seem to be subhuman yourself standing up for people that tortured and killed the pet of a dying old man, if you aren't one of them yourself.

Bottom line is animals think and feel just like we do, they feel fear and they feel pain, and only a sicko tortures a dying man's dog. People like that are capable of anything and shouldn't be allowed to walk free, after all every serial killer starts with torturing animals.

Animals have every bit as much value and a right to life as a human, and there isn't anyone that can produce a shred of proof to the contrary. Unless "really" would like to tell us where he gets his psychotic idea that animals only exist for him to torture.

Ok I'd like to ask u a question. Are u a vegetarian bc ur saying killing an animal is wrong. And I'm guessing here but I'd say ur probably not, my family slaughters it's own animals and that is like torture too. Those steaks and hamburger u get at the grocery store came from an ANIMAL too. And I know ur gonna get on here and say that dogs are different than cows but they're really not. If you've ever owned a farm animal u will know that they have big personalities too, and just as scared when u go to kill them. Bottom line u have to do it if u want to eat. I'm not saying what the guys did was right but u can't defend animals if u ur self are the reason they are killed for food.
