Tucson cancels Fourth of July celebration to save money

There'll be no fireworks over A-Mountain this Fourth of July. The city has decided to scrap the holiday celebration , which included the mountaintop fireworks and related events at the Tucson Convention Center Downtown.

This is complete bullshitt, and typical of the type of city council we have. You take away funding for one thing, you better take it away from all if you want to use the "save money" excuse. Hey, at least we will still have money to support the "Cesar Chavez" celebration right? Since that is so much more importaaaant than the 4th of July. F'cking pathetic.
