Taxpayers foot bill for Good Friday parties
Children gathered Friday evening at Mansfield's Playland Park located at City Hall.
The DeSoto Farmers Market opens from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Dave B. Means Memorial 4-H Center on U.S. Highway 171 between Mansfield and Grand Cane.

For several months now, I can't help but recall the comments that we as "locals" of the Monroe area... MANSFIELD - Renovations at the Mansfield State Historic Site are complete, allowing for the reopening Saturday of the museum and grounds.

But there's still more to come. New exhibits are being designed by Expo Displays and scheduled for installation in late July.
