Health Notes Submitted by Mary Withey, VNA East Inc. and Hospice of Eastern Connecticut, on 2009-12-15.   For the past 6 to 7 years, staff of the Hospice of Eastern Connecticut, a program of VNA East, Inc., have baked, sewn, and purchased items to include in "Holiday Comfort and Cheer" baskets for patients and their families.

The second time 15-year-old Kristi ran from Stepping Stone, a private residential facility for troubled adolescent girls in Waterbury, she was stopped by a fellow resident soon after she fled through a gated exit near the gymnasium.
