Alcohol On Scene of Highway 82 Accident
We have new information on a one-vehicle accident between Mankins and Holliday Friday night.
Officials: Cell Phone Usage while Driving Causes Mankins Collision
An early morning head-on collision sends one person to the hospital. The crash happened around 7:30 this morning on US Hwy 82 when a 2000 Ford Taurus station wagon collided head-on with a Dish Network service van just west of Mankins.
Wreck near Mankins injures woman
The wreck happened just outside Mankins on U.S. 277 in Archer County. The Department of Public Safety said the woman, driver of the station wagon, was taken to a hospital.
Thunderstorm Warning Wichita Archer counties
At 3:56 p.m., a Severe Thunderstorm was in the Mankins area moving to the northeast at about 45 mph.
Archer County fire burns 75 acres
A grass fire in Archer County took about an hour to contain, said Cody Ratten, regional fire coordinator for the North Texas area.
