So why would she drive to her husband place of work, if right across the street are businesses that were close to call 911? And if the guy pull her out of the car, it wasn't in parked for one thing, and 2 seatbelt is a law... Didn't she have cell?? If she was kick, stab and punch, guess it wasn't that bad that she got back up and drove to her hubby work...... Things that make u go MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM..........

ok Sherlock or Inspector Gadget or wanna be crime solver- Make your point!
Have you reached the age of 52- to even know who I am referring to? This comment reads and sounds like it came from a young teenager that does carry a cell phone, needs a writing lesson and has no clue what this woman went through- if you can help identify or have witnessed anything please come forward-
until then it would be respectful to keep your HMMM's to yourself, and stay in school!!

More proof that blacks evolved with lower IQs than other races. Darwin is your homeboy.

Wow. Blacks are too ignorant to even know they're ignorant. I'll bet you $1,000 you went to an inner-city school with a bunch of other pavement apes. Illiterate chimp.

FYI- banana - might just be the easiest fruit to spell if you sound it out- or spell check at least. I do not think they grow around or above a vacant buildings parking lot, OR anywhere in York County for that matter.
If you do have any info or details as a witness- please continue with your comments-
otherwise- think about your Mother, wife, girlfriend, grandmother, any female or family member -
then send your jokes to an online "joke" space.
This is NOT funny here

If you look at a map of the area its easy to figure out why she drove there. Yes, there are businesses across the street, but to say right across would be ompletley wrong. To get to those businesses she would've had to have turn right, and crossed traffic and I believe it would be into a muffler shop/garage unless she went to the shopping center down at the light of Loukes and Kenneth.
The location of her husbands work on Trolley Road would mean a left turn on Loukes and then a right of of Loukes, no red lights. In the messages from the original story someone commented that she was taking lunch to her husband when it happened. So in her mind she was going that direction to see someone she knew and trusted. After being attacked like that, she would want to get to someone she knew and trusted. It might not make sense to you but the human mind is a powerful thing.

I know how being attacked feels. I still live with the flashbacks at times. I was attacked in 1977 in Park City parking lot around 8:00PM on a week night. Another couple heard me leaning on the horn of my car and the man grabbed the guy off of me and out of my car. No cell phones at that time. But if there had been I most likely would have dialed 911. Somehow the police showed up . I don't know who made the call. Possibly some someone from the surrounding crowd. I am forever so grateful for that young couple. My saving grace was there was this young couple several car rows away. And my husband worked 2nd shift a half of a mile away.
Everyone reacts to frightening situations in different ways. Again, in an open area with no one else around I would like to think I could get myself together enough to calll 911 and possibly my husband if he could be accessed by phone.

I agree.. I'm hard nosed would like to think I'd just pound the guy who tried to rob me.. but conditions of the situation would dictate what Id do I suppose..and perhaps nothing depending on how off guard I was. Hard to say what anyone would do. There is a flip side, if I had a window to over power the guy I think it very possible that I'd kill him too...simply choke him to death. I dont believe in our justice system and if you are a white victim these days it seems to be 'allowed' to let the perp off.

I agree with HMMM, there is so much that just does not add up. Why did she stop to help a bearded black man carrying a plastic Wal-Mart bag in the middle of a vacant parking lot? Why was she driving through the vacant parking lot in the first place if she was taking lunch to her husbands work? She was in the car right, its running, why didn't she drive off. Not saying she wasn't attacked but maybe it didn't happen as reported.

Yea people believe everything they hear and read...
No one has the intelligence to think for themselves anymore. Its also worse when the suspect is a black person attacking a white then it automatically becomes racial...
A few years ago the woman down south claimed black men stole her car with her kids in it then later we found out she killed the kids herself by driving her car into the water... had everyone looking for those kids and talking like all of you are now...
Let this all play out then truth will speak for itself...
Bottom line
None of us were there so we don't know what happened.

Something still doesn't make sense.
1.Why was she cutting through the parking lot?
2.If she was taking her husband lunch there is no place for her to get food at except T.G.I Friday, Ruby Tuesday and The seafood place.
3.If she picked stuff up at one of those places why didn’t she go up Kenneth Road to Trolley Road? There was no reason to cut through the parking lot because it was a longer route.
Now for some simple common sense safety tips.
1.Keep your doors locked
2.Wear your seatbelt
3.Only crack your windows to talk to people on the street unless you know them
4.Keep cell phone handy

why this woman stopped to "offer help" is beyond me. if you see someone who you believe needs help, call 911 either from your cell phone or a landline and request that trained, emergency first responders go to the scene and check it out. to put yourself in harm's way, go to a deserted parking lot where violent crimes have happened before, get out of your car and go "help" someone when you do not have the proper skills or training, is just asking for trouble. think a little bit people. obviously i do feel bad for this woman but she should have known better.

1. I cut through that parking lot when leaving the mall because I live in Dover. Alot of people cut through there. It's a shortcut. So she was probably taking a shortcut, like most of the people driving through there do

2. Those 3 restaurants you mentioned aren't the only places to get food. Perhaps she brought some food from home. You don't know where she lives or where she stopped. Assuming she went to any of the 3 restaurants makes you look stupid.

3. She didn't take those roads because she may not have stopped at those restaurants. You see, not everyone has the mental capacity that you do. Thank God for that or we would all be screwed.

4. Perhaps the attack happened so quick she didn't have time to pull her phone out and call 911. Again, not everyone has the mental capacity that you do.

5. Your post was really stupid.

6. You belong in politics.

Did you even think about these responses before you typed them? They make even less sense as to way I/she went through the parking lot. There are a multiude of ways to get to Trolley Rd. from Dover before ever getting to the mall.

1. If you know that area at all then you know that many people cut through that lot. I taught my daughter how to drive in that lot, practice backing up my trailer in that lot and just last Sunday afternoon I cut through that lot after leaving Ollies so I could head to Dover.

2. How do you know it wasn't a bagged lunch she was bringing from home? Or maybe she was meeting the hubby for lunch.

3. The weather was nice enough to have the car windows down that day. Suppose for a moment that she had be shopping at Ollies or ToysRUs, the car was sitting in the lot. Most likely it was locked and windows were up while she shopped. When she got in her car it would've been hot inside. Almost all of us would put the window down. She was less than a minute away from those stores mentioned so there is no big surprise that the window was down.

4. I always have my cell phone with me. A lot of good it would do me while someone is hacking away at me!
