Granberry: Commerce Street uses art to seek a new identity
The mural, signed Jack Lubin '56, found behind a wall during renovations of the old Statler Hilton hotel on Commerce Street To a kid growing up in Dallas in the 1960s, even before the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, Commerce Street loomed as the dark side, or at the very least a thoroughly adult thoroughfare.
Mann Honored With Citizen Of The Year Award
Following years of doling out awards and serving as master of ceremonies at numerous events, it was Arthur Mann's turn for recognition Thursday night, March 7, as the Hillsboro Area Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year.
Hubbard Police Make Arrests, Clear Burglaries
The recent arrest of four suspects by Hubbard police is expected to clear burglaries in both Hubbard and Hill County.
