Wonder why its just comeing out now?
Most of the time someone is fired when they test posative for drugs.

The test should have been back in 10 days or less.

Something not right hear.

anyone get the scoop?

Paper said he fail a drug test.
Who ever is in charge of the report or who ever the report was sent to stateing he fail the drug test had to know.
So it looks like a cover up to me.

I know Tom from way back and think he a good person.
But if their cover up then it needs to come out.

Who ever cover it up should be fired becouse thay are not protecting the Tax payers, thay are not doing their job.

If they had delt with this right off 2 week supention with out pay, drug rehab, this would all behind him now. and no one would really give a flying chit.

Not stiring pot, thats Malone
Just one more change that needs to take place.
Just 1 more thing that usualy gets cover up and when someone bring it up later you get called a lier and told to show the proof. The proof is gone by then.
This is just 1 more of my points.

OK you are nuts. That said, if there was the big coverup that you speak of, then why is it out now? The time delay is explainable very easily, it is called due process. Everyone is given all rights allowed by law.

To think that he was out plowing our roads and he was high on marijuana, doesn't that tell people what an idiot this man is. He put everyone of us on the road in danger. I wouldn't want to be hit by a snowplow, would you? Yes this is a cover up and who ever help to cover this up for him is just as guilty and he is. Also I feel this is coming out now because it's politics at it's best, but it doesn't change the fact that he tested postive for marijuana. What an example he has set for his employees he doesn't and didn't deserve to be Deputy Highway Superintendent/Town Highway Superintendent.

I knew this because as I said before I have been involved in Politics as well as my family. People in the town offices knew about this, I am not saying all of them did but some did.

you can test positive for weed for a long time after doing it, up to 30 days i think. so maybe he smoked 2 weeks before the accident and was still positive for it when the accident occurred, even though he was not "stoned" at that time. notice he was NOT ticketed for DUI.

i'm not defending his actions, just stating a fact.

The drug test said there was pot IN HIS URINE, not that he was driving high.
The test shows pot use during a several month window and can also be caused by being in the same room when someone else is smoking.
It is unfair and untrue to declare that he was driving high.

I agree with you guys..he wasn't smoking at the time and what he does on his off hours is none of our business anyway. I've know alot of educated and upstanding people who smoke weed a few times a month and they function just fine.

wouldn't it be interesting to test our esteemed lawmakers and see who comes up positive?

of course, that will NEVER happen, here or anywhere else.

I just want to say thank you to Taxpayer. It was completely out of line to assume the man was high... Um, you ought to be more concerned about the girl in the vehicle ahead of you "texting' on her phone than a man who may have smoked pot at some point prior to driving. I'm not promoting drugs whatsoever. I'm also not saying he doesn't have a title to uphold and position to competently maintain. He needed to be held accountable,(like 8 months ago, not today.)
Live in a bubble if you'd like but i'm still going to drive the streets and appreciate that my roads are being plowed.. I'm not going to stress myself out that everyone around me isn't in complete obedience of the law...

Let me see,
He was not smokeing and driveing. Good.
The point is he was posative in a drug test.
The point is he not to do it at all.
The ? is how maney people have lost a job becouse thay test posative for drugs that thay did 3 weeks befor the test.
I know that that drug test are f--k up becouse you can do snort coke, and it will not come up in a piss test a week later.
That is my big problem with drug testing.
Would I like to see our law makers take drug test, you bet.
People in charge new and did nothing excipe sit on it till he went for a job that someone did not want him to have, that is what Malone dose, black mail people, to keep you in your place.
I hope this is my last post on this.

I do wish him good luck.

already answered that the town office knew it. I do not believe that you can be employeed and fail a pee test for the town. I could care less when he did it the fact is is that he did. You people are the same ones to hold an uprising against NR but yet it is ok to smoke pot. I know many of you feel it should be legalized and that is great but for now it is ILLEGAL. What part of that do you not understand.

I guess it is ok to break the law if you are smoking pot but it is not ok to if you are drinking. What hypocrites.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Virgo

If something is weighing on your mind it will start to affect your health, Virgo. It might make you feel tired or depressed, or it could dominate your thoughts. You know what you should do about it, of course, but it seems like too much effort or you want to pretend that it doesn't exist. Unfortunately, this escapist attitude won't make the problem go away and might even make it more tricky by the time you finally decide to tackle it.
