Santiago S. "Manuel" Almanza Sr., 67, of Defiance, died at the CHP Defiance Area In-Patient Hospice Center on Friday, April 6, 2012.
She was born on April 19, 1909, in Malinta, Ohio, to Henry and Ede Geist. She married Walter A. Orthwein on April 24, 1943, and he preceded her in death on November 18, 2000.
For all their contributions to the agricultural community, four individuals were inducted into the Henry County Agriculture Hall of Fame on Sunday at the Henry County Fair in Napoleon.
Defiance woman dies in accident
A rural Defiance woman was killed Tuesday morning following a three-vehicle crash on U.S. 24 in Henry County's Washington Township.
