Tamaqua man gets jail for sex abuse
A Tamaqua man who admitted taking videos and photographs of a girl sexually exposed and engaged in sex acts was sentenced to state prison Monday, despite pleas from his ex-wife -- who had reported him to police -- that he be sent to county prison so he could continue working and giving her money.
Timothy M. Dunstan, 37, was sentenced to 12 to 24 months by Schuylkill County President Judge William Baldwin on charges of indecent assault, corruption of minors and sexual abuse. He pleaded guilty to the counts in March, after charges of sexual exploitation of a child and aggravated indecent assault were dropped.

4 teens charged in Rush Township break-in
Four teenagers -- one of whom is pregnant -- used two-way radios to communicate during a Sunday night break-in at Hometown Farmers Market in Rush Township, police say. They are accused of trying to take hundreds of DVDs and other merchandise.
Police say the radios even helped two of the teens briefly elude capture when the other teens, sitting in a car outside the market, warned the pair inside that officers were coming.
But all four were arrested in nearby Mahanoy City after police found numerous items stashed in duffel bags in the market and broadcast a description of the getaway car. Read more
