Union County lays off administrative assistant

Budget constraints resulted in a county employee being laid off on Sept. 28. Christine Ann Maynard of Magnetic Springs was notified that her position is being abolished as a result of reorganization and she will no longer be working as a permanent full-time administrative assistant, effective at the close of business Oct.
