Magdalena Man Still Missing
“Many miles were covered through the very rough terrain”
Family and friends have not given up hope in their search for 61-year-old Magdalena resident Steven Romero, who has not been heard from since his abandoned pickup was found on Highway 117 at the El Malpais National Monument on April 15.
According to a co-worker of Romero, Jennifer Rush, a $1,000 reward has been offered by Romero's employer for information leading to finding him.
Romero's daughter, Stefany Hull of Richmond, Va., told the Mountain Mail in a telephone interview that another search is being planned for Saturday in El Malpais. Read more
