Gardening And History Workshops In Magdalena
Living in the high desert makes water usage an important consideration in any landscaping or gardening.
There will be a workshop at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Magdalena Village Hall.
Participants can learn about drip irrigation systems that significantly reduce the water needed to maintain plants their yards.
Omar Qureshi, who owns and operates Nanise Native Plants and Education in Magdalena, will be the presenter.
A second workshop will focus on the history and origin of the Alamo people. Read more
