A Madison County man is facing serious jail time after being accused of sexually assaulting a child.

Authorities have identified the man and woman who died Wednesday in a fiery head-on crash on State Highway 21 in Madisonville as Randy Harper, 55, of Diamond, Mo., and Paula Pinkley of Cassville, Mo.

But the Leona Volunteer Fire Department in Leon County is out of commission after three of its fire trucks were heavily damaged when a school bus crashed into them last Sunday.

Two wildfires that have been burning in Jeff Davis County for close to two weeks are now under control.

House Homeland Security Committee Chairman, Peter King says the bomb is now being studied by the FBI.

About a week-and-a-half since dry lightening sparked the first wildfire in Jeff Davis County, both of them appear to be almost completely out.

Most of those on the bus appear to be okay, though 12 students were transported to a nearby hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
