It is about time that Madisonville had a full time codes enforcement officer. We need for the county to also take this issue seriously. I would love to see the historic buildings saved if possible. However, the owners of these buildings need to either be made to get off their behinds and fix them or they should be seized and auctioned off to the highest bidder with a timeline of when renovations must be completed.

Our county looks like a dump.
