Spring is brief but sweet season for sap
When the nights are below freezing and the days are in the 40s, you'll find Teresa Marrone checking on two maple trees on her south Minneapolis property, watching for the drip-drip-drip of the sap flowing.

Twin Cities skiers and snowboarders get a bonus week on the slopes
Last year, the high temperature in the Twin Cities reached 80 degrees. Today, it's snowing, and ski areas in the region are offering snowboarders and skiers a bonus week, with most planning to close out the season this Sunday, March 24.
