Leaders Discuss Possible Sports Co-op in Clark County
Declining school enrollment could have several local sports teams becoming one. Leaders at Loyal, Greenwood and Granton school districts says they are in the early stages of talks surrounding a sports co-op. Loyal's superintendent, Graeme Williams says, because fewer students are attending the three schools, some teams don't have enough players.
Loyal recieves $235,000 to upgrade water
A $235,000 Community Development Block Grant from the Wisconsin Department of Commerce will help the city move forward on plans to upgrade its water systems, according to information from state Sen.

Madison Elementary School's Parent Teacher Organization is closer to having the money to build a playground that would be handicapped-accessible. The Madison PTO's Home-Based Business and Craft Fair on Saturday at the school will raise money for the playground equipment, estimated at $36,000, said Elizabeth Giles, Madison PTO president.
