A 3.3 Magnitude earthquake in Nevada

On Tuesday, Feb. 7 a 3.3 magnitude earthquake hits Nevada. That's according to a preliminary report released by the US Geological Survey just before 8:30 p.m. The quake hit about 22 miles southwest of Lovelock, NV, seven miles northwest of Trinity, NV and about 173 miles northeast of Sacramento, CA.

BLM Seeks Public Input on Proposed Geothermal Plant

The Bureau of Land Management , Winnemucca District, Humboldt River Field Office is seeking public input as it initiates an environmental analysis process for a geothermal power plant and power lines as proposed by TGP Dixie Development Company, LLC.
