An accident in Lovell has claimed another life. The Oxford County Sheriff's department says that Eric Brades of Norway was killed when the mini van he was a passenger in rolled over and hit a utility pole.

A company called Western Maine Realty now owns nearly 1,500 acres and several large buildings that once held equipment that scanned from Greenland to Cuba for approaching Soviet missiles and planes.

Weak Internet and cell service has been identified in parts of Roxbury, Byron, Hartford, Lovell, and areas down Route 26 in Oxford, according to preliminary results of efforts to map the region's access to such services.
