May out in Lawrence

I hoped to see improvements in the Lawrence County School system but I would say it will be sometime before we see much of change.

I don't know about that. Just sit back and watch how bad things can get.

Think back and remember how it was when this group was in there before its the same ones.
And it was ture about Toni and the test scores, and Mike covered up for them to. Look who all got thier way, all I can say as many that can show up at the board meetings.

I liked Mr. May. He was very sick and that is why he is gone, not bec of any body.

Prediction: The first woman superintendent in Lawrence County will be voted in. Can anyone guess who it will be?????

yes its what the majority of people wanted, because May wasn't the best for the kids, he was out for himself. May was a shady character who wouldn't even put his kids in the school system he ran.(I use the word ran lightly) A few facts....Test scores are the lowest they have been in county history. May also received extra allowance for a vehickle and gas money because he traveled here (could have been used for the kids). Hired a great number of people to teach who have no teaching degree or certificate. Could go on and on.. On the other hand Mr Armstrong is probably one of the most qualified people in the country for this position. He cares about the local children and that alone is much more than one can say about May

I just want someone who is honest,and who will do right by the children,and work with the people that is employed by the school board!I want someone who is willing to stand up for what is right!I hope that they go in this job with their eyes wide open!!I really hope that Mike Armstrong is this person... I think we have had enough trials and tribulations for the past few years.
