Company floats ads in 'clouds' shaped like corporate logos

Just great....
More advertising shoved down the publics' throats. As if billboards spaced 200 feet apart on highways isn't enough. |

Pollution. Plain and simple.

It sounds perfect for Disney and that's why it would be horrible everywhere else.

WOW, THAT'S GREAT. There is all that empty sky up there and this puts it to good use. This is a good way for corporate executives to make a profit.

Ads, ads, and more ads.
I thought those 'rolling billboards' that clog downtown traffic were the ultimate in poor taste. Then I read this article, and I realize again that no matter how low you set the bar, some ad exec will find a way to slither under it. |

I'm hoping that the rising cost of gas will keep those damn banner-pulling planes out of the sky. At least the clouds would be quiet.

I like the invention. I just don't like the idea of the sky filled with corporate logos. The sky should be filled with real clouds, not some junks. If they ever do it here, I will certainly boycott the companies that place the ads. Plus we have enough of ads around us, the only thing left is the free sky. Leave it alone.

The sky has been of interest to advertising moguls for a while. It's inevitable that such virgin space will eventually become populated through various types of technology, both known and unknown. Enjoy it while it's still blue, it won't last forever.

Consider this before you rent one of these. Exactly how big does something 4 feet across look from a couple thousand feet away? Can you say DOT? Only effective at low altitudes.
