Venice Beach lightning strike victim identified as USC student
The lone fatality of a lightning strike at Venice Beach on Sunday was identified by his uncle as 20-year-old Nick Fagnano, an incoming junior transfer student to USC, according to a Southern California Public Radio, 89.3 KPCC .

One man was killed and at least eight others were hurt when lightning from a rare band of summer thunderstorms struck Venice beach in Los Angeles on a busy Sunday afternoon.
