A killer walks free after posting $80,000.00??? You've got ot be kidding me. I have an SUV worth more than 80 Gs. If he kills again will you ask for another 80??? Wake up the Court systems. If it was one of their children killed i'm sure things would be different.

He is an ACCUSED killer. He hasn't gone to trial yet. Charging someone with murder and finding them guilty in court are two different things. SAD but true.

As a person who knew Marcus McAllister i feel that the judicial system is setting a bad example for repeat felonies and offenders of the law by giving this man accused of his murder any kind of bond at all. A life can not be replaced and you cant set a price on the loss of a life. Because for this man to take the life of anohter young man and for him to have a bond at all is not justice at all. A life has ended, a son has been taking from a mother, a child has lost a father, and a judicial system can put a price on that. It really saddens me.

This is crazy another killer out on bond and on the streets yet again. I cant believe this, what is wrong with this world, they just let them walk free to do it to someone else. I really dont know what to think about things like this, what about all the other killers that have done the same crime but they have to pay for what they done and there are some that just get away with it, why is that, They both done the same crime but one goes to jail and the other walks, I just dont understand the system.

Compared to recent bonds i've seen, this is about as good as it gets in Horry county. And it is a SURETY BOND, which means someone has to give up $80.000.00 in cash or let the court hold title to property that's appraised at 80Gs or higher. Most courts only require folks to put up 10% of the actual bond to get out, which is what the kid who shot and killed Corey Brooks did on his previous charge. It's about damn time they started getting it right.

This is typical for our legal system. There is nothing that regular people like ourselves can do but put pressure on the officials in office to take notice and make change. I'm from Myrtle Beach and over the years this subject of murders has come up alot. Criminals like this should be the highest priority of the justice system, because their are two types of criminals VIOLENT and NON VIOLENT individual common sense should be exercised at every chance when it comes to sentencing. If you ask me violent criminals need to be treated like sex offenders and not anything less as far as handling them is concerned.
