My name is Maureen Greaves. I grew up in Bundoran a little town in Co. Donegal Ireland. I came to Australia during the eighties and I now reside in Brisbane Qld. Yes we do have very environmentaly friendly bus stops down here and they do provide shelter fro the heat. You are doing a wise move. Aussie Bus shelters are very affordable and replacable. Your story reminds me of my recently published book titled Weekend Special. It is a story about seven people liveing in Harvey Bay Sunshine Coast Qld. Jack Dempsey owns the bus he drives his passengers home every Friday evening from their workplace in Brisbane City to their homes in Harvey Bay- hense the name Weekend Special. This is very economical travel considering the distance he has to cover in Qld. Maybe you could run a similar service in Deming or Silver City. Now the story goes that the passengers are a diverse group. Nora Molloy is so mean she would put Scrooge to shame. Stella Cosgrave the judge's daughter who thinks class distinction does not exist. The seven passengers lives are all entwined and gossip and scandal abound. If you would like to read more about the book you can view iton www.strategicbookpublishing.com/WeekendSpecia... Maybe you could adopt a similar system on your buses.

THANKING YOU
