THE ISSUE: Rural post offices may not close, hours reduced OUR VIEW: Good news for now, but this isn't over It's been a long nine months for people who depend on their local post office, but good news finally arrived earlier this week.

IN THE CLASSROOM KEITH KOCEK of Long Point, son of Jeffrey and Paula Kocek and grandson of Frances Ligori, will graduate from the University of Illinois College of Engineering with a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering on Sunday, May 13.
