Long Beach Police Shoot Suspected Carjacker

A suspected carjacker was hospitalized after being shot by Long Beach police Friday night, authorities said.A The shooting occurred about 9:30 p.m. as the suspect sat in a car behindA a nursing home near East Fourth Street and Cerritos Avenue, according to Long Beach Police Sgt.
