Long Beach police search for killer in gang-related drive-by

At this point after reading this artical what do I say ?

More family tragedy caused by cowardly thugs.

Once again we see the tides flowing. RIP to this young man and my prayers are with his family. At some point the community needas to step in and rectify this situation

Does anyone know what is going on in the larger sense? Are the gangs under financial pressure and consolidating territory? Via murder?

I've noticed in my own neighborhood that the demographics have really changed in the last year (from Hispanic to Black), probably signifying some sort of wholesale relocation.

RIP man...your brother and moms is staying strong and hopefully they'll catch those chumps.

there you go...no different then the mexican gangs and black gangs. the gangs was not created to protect "their own kind" from others. they are gangs and will kill anyone including their own kind whom they claim to be protecting. so all the crap that was said about all these gangs created to protect their own kind from other race is all a fake. at the end it's never a race war but a gang war. the only color that counts to them is the color of their gangs and not their skin. sad a life is wasted but then again you play the game and death and prison are your only outcome.

If the surge in violence is further escalated by gangs "under financial pressure and consolidating territory", just wait until the gang from the UAW comes into town...

yep and everyone is going to say what an upstanding guys these were and all that other crap....live by the sword ...die by the sword

I agree in part, the PARENTS (and to a lesser degree, families) of these hoodlums need to rectify themselves that THEY failed.
They also need to stop blaming society, schools and the police. None of these 'institutions' are babysitters and should stop being used as such...
