According to CAL Fire Emergency Command Center Communications Operator Jim DeVoll the Tuesday morning fire at the Long Barn Caltrans Yard was caused by a lightning strike.

CAL Fire is reporting a small vegetation fire this morning in the Caltrans facility off Long Barn Rd.

A rental home on the 22600 block of N. Tuolumne Road burned at 3 a.m. Sunday, said American Red Cross representative Cathie Peacock, of Long Barn.
