Players give good effort at Brewer camp
Brewer High School concluded its 23rd annual Girls Basketball Camp on Friday evening with 58 campers, ranging from second through ninth grades, demonstrating skills they learned during the previous five days.
Locust Fork man, 64, convicted of sex crimes against four children
A 64-year-old Blount County man pleaded guilty today to 10 charges of sex crimes against four children under the age of 12. Wade Andrew Underwood Jr., of Locust Fork, entered the guilty plea to all counts against him today in the Blount County Circuit Court.

Pinson Valley and Locust Fork exchanged the lead five times Monday, but the Lady Indians ended up on top with a 7-6 win in seven innings over Locust Fork.
