Livonia teachers' contract OK'd in 5-1 vote

A little more than half of Livonia's 1,100 teachers will get a 0.5-percent raise and all of them will start paying part of their health care for the first time ever under the terms of a one-year contract approved Thursday by the school board.

Police nab suspect in 7-Eleven robbery
