Today`s storm was a great example of how quickly the weather can change. Severe weather in the Midwest drained a lot of the moisture that was forecast to hit central North Dakota, but in Emmons County, there was plenty of snow to go around.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation has closed Interstate 94 westbound traffic lanes from Sunset Drive in Mandan to Dickinson due to A traffic incidents on the roadway and heavy snow and slush creating hazardous conditions.
The committee is scheduled to meet Feb. 22 to nominate members from three districts as candidates for election to the board of directors.
