A special Corning City Council meeting will be held Thursday night to ask the State Transportation Department to delay the demolition of the Patterson Bridge until the new bridge is built to replace it.

Sonja F. Covell, 45, of 8251 Main St. Ext., was charged May 1 with driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated.
