Is this the only dog incident in the entire city of Lincoln or do we just choose to target the pit bulls? Pit bulls are not the only breed that can be territorial and feel the need to protect their caretakers. It really makes me angry that these generally loving animals are targeted so much by the media with only negative information.

I agree! I am an owner of a pit bull. Trained and taken care of correctly, he is the most loving dog.

Would this have been in the news if it was a poodle or a chihuahua? These breeds bite people, also.

Now that we can get concealed carry licenses (which were passed to allow us to protect ourself from life threatening dangers), we could just start carrying and shoot the dogs that try to kill us. Since the the police can't get there fast enough to stop a dog attack, maybe the answer is to get a license to carry a gun and take back our country from these evil dogs.

Your statement is indicative of all clueless pit bull owners..."he is the most loving dog" ........many a pit bull owner said that same thing up until the time their precious pit bit the face off a neighbor kid or one of their own........keep convincing yourself cletus that yoru dog is not dangerous. IDIOT!

I just read a poll on CNN.com that stated that Pitbull owners are so protective of their dogs because 70% of them have anal sex with the beasts on a regular basis. It also said Biff is a child molester.

The owners of"Pitbulls" have a mental problem .. They want to be preceived as "TOUGH" though their potentially dangerous dog.. A sad sad chance they take!

Daily Horoscope for November 30

Aquarius

You may feel mildly agitated as the sensitive Moon clashes with your life-ruler. Personal difficulties with family members or necessary home repairs may disrupt your day. Deal directly with problems no matter how much you would rather procrastinate. What you avoid today is likely to escalate into a much bigger problem for you to solve tomorrow.
