If after this run of awesome weather and the lingering minus tides this week you still need yet another reason to visit the Oregon coast, then the freakish fun of "glowing sand" could be added to your list.

It all really begins on a rainy, stormy night on the north coast. Earlier this week, on this day, the central coast was warm and sun drenched, but apparently not the north coast.

The Lincoln Beach area, straddled between Gleneden Beach and Depoe Bay, is a bit of an off-the-beaten path secret in this part of the central Oregon coast.
