Firefighters battling second blaze in Cherokee Co.
Nacogdoches County Sheriff Thomas Kerss said it appears the sparks from the Douglass area fire have blown over to the Sacul area, on the Cherokee County side and has started a 150-acre blaze.

Fires out of control in Nacogdoches, Houston counties
On FM 343 in the Cushing area, winds started picking up around 11 a.m. and firefighters scurried to move equipment and stations to a safer place.
